A. You get to decide. The new parent decides whether their baby is a boy or a girl and what to name their little one.

Q. Do these babies move or make sounds?

A. Simply stated, the answer is "no." Our newborns are special because they look and feel like real babies. Their cuddly, soft bodies are weighted so that the moment you snuggle one into your arms, you'll feel as though you're holding a real infant. Best of all, no batteries are required! Our babies our "powered" by love and imagination.

Q. What is the age recommendation for these dolls?

A. Dolls from the Newborn Nursery have been tested for safety and are recommended for ages three and up. But, children aren't the only ones who love our babies. Moms and Grandmas can also join in on the fun.

Q. How much do the dolls weigh?

A. Approximately four pounds.

Q. Can I buy a Newborn Nursery baby as gift for someone else?

A. Yes you can. If you visit an Newborn Nursery Care Center, you can purchase a baby and present it to the Care Center as a gift. The new parent can then come back to learn to care for their new baby, name their baby and receive the baby's birth certificate. If you purchase a baby online, the new parent can visit our website to print their baby's birth certificate.

Q. What size clothes fit these babies?

A. Our dolls can wear baby clothing sized 0-3 months. However real baby outfits may be a bit baggy in the arms, legs, and necks. Newborn Nursery accessory clothes are specially designed for our newborns, and will fit the babies perfectly.

Q. Can I have a doll made to look like my child?

A. We cannot make customized dolls. We do however, offer several different styles of faces, as well as skin-tone and hair and eye color combinations. With these choices, it makes it easy to find a baby with features you are looking for.
